TAFCOP Portal is an online platform that is launched to help people of the country. The government of India launched the tafcop.dgtelecom.gov.in portal to make it easy for customers to find out how many mobile numbers are linked with their names. After knowing the number of mobile connections registered with the names, the customer can take the proper measures to regularize the extra mobile connections. Telecom Analytics for Fraud Management and Consumer Protection portal (TAFCOP) will help to prevent fraud. Presently, this service can be only used by people of Kerala, Arunachal Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Rajasthan, Jammu & Kashmir, Meghalaya, Tripura, Mizoram, and Nagaland.

Customers who have more than nine connections will receive SMS notifications. After that, the Ticket ID Reference Number will be generated and then you can Request Status. To check the status, it is necessary to do login.

Procedure to Check Registered Online Connection on TAFCOP Portal

  • Firstly, visit the official website of TAFCOP, tafcop.dgtelecom.gov.in
  • You will reach on the homepage of the website.
  • Then you have to enter your mobile number
  • Click on the Request OTP option on the screen.
  • You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number.
  • Enter the received OTP in the space given.
  • Then you have to click on the Validate option on the screen.
  • You will see the registered online connections on the screen.

Steps to Login on the TAFCOP Portal

  • Firstly, visit the official website of TAFCOP, tafcop.dgtelecom.gov.in
  • You will reach on the homepage of the website.
  • After reaching the home page click on the login option on the screen.
  • Then provide your User Id and the Password
  • Now you have to enter the Captcha code in the space given.
  • At last, click on the login button on the screen.

Procedure to Check Mobile Number is Linked to Aadhaar

  • Go to the UIDAI official portal, uidai.gov.in
  • The home page of the portal will open on screen.

  • Enter your Aadhaar number, mobile number, and Captcha code in the space given.
  • After that Click on the ‘Send OTP’ option.
  • If your mobile is linked, you will receive an OTP.
  • After that, you can Enter the OTP and verify your mobile number.
  • If your number is not linked, then you will receive a message: “Your mobile is not enrolled in our records”

Procedure to Link Mobile Number with Aadhaar

  • You can Download the Aadhaar update/correction form from the UIDAI website, uidai.gov.in or you can also collect it from the nearest Aadhaar center
  • Fill the form by entering all required details and submit it with a copy of your Aadhaar card and a photo identification document (PAN card, passport, voter ID, etc).
  • Then your biometrics and demographic information will be verified.
  • After that, you will be given an acknowledgment slip.
  • In few days, your mobile number will get linked to Aadhaar.
  • Then you have to give your Aadhaar card and mobile number at the telecom service provider’s store.
  • Your biometric verification will be done.
  • Then you will receive an OTP, submit it to complete the verification process.
