Punjab Ashirwad Scheme:– The Punjab Ashirwad Scheme 2023 is a government initiative in the state of Punjab. The aim of the scheme is to provide financial assistance for the marriage of female children from economically weaker sections of society. The scheme is designed to support families in meeting the expenses associated with a girl’s marriage. The girls who belong to the scheduled caste backward class and economically weaker section can take benefit from the scheme. The Department of Social Justice Empowerment and Minorities, Government of Punjab took the initiative to start this scheme.

According to the scheme, girls from economically weaker families will be provided with 15000 to Rs. 21000. This amount will be provided at the time of marriage. The government decided to spend Rs. 39 crores for the scheme.
