Arogya Lakshmi Scheme:- Telangana government always keeps on launching many schemes for the welfare of the people of the state. So, this time the state government took the initiative to support the pregnant and lactating women of the state. It is a welfare program mainly designed to support pregnant and lactating women in accessing healthcare services. Through Arogya Lakshmi Scheme 2023, nutritious food will be provided to pregnant women during their pregnancy and post-delivery period. The state government launched the scheme on 1st January 2013. The best part of the scheme is that all the food will be free of cost.
Arogya Lakshmi Scheme 2023
According to the Arogya Lakshmi Scheme, the women will get a full meal in the Anganwadi center. After getting nutritional food the women of the state will be able to remove anemia in women. Under this scheme, iron and folic acid tablets will also be provided to the females. The scheme will help to prevent malnutrition in newborn babies. The state government decided to make food available in 31897 main Anganwadi centers and 4076 mini Anganwadi centers. The meal will have rice, dal with leafy vegetables/sambhar, vegetables for at least 25 days, boiled egg, and 200 ml milk for 30 days in a month. It is expected that the meal will fulfill 40% to 45% of the daily calorie and 40% to 45% of the protein and calcium needed per day.

- You will see an application form on the screen.

- After that attach all the required documents to the application form.
- Next, submit this form to the Anganwadi Center.
